Our Story

In November 2001 www.HotAutoWeb.com was founded. Over the next few years, the business model and the opportunity began defining itself. The Collector Car Market was speaking. Sellers needed an easier way to sell and buyers were clamoring for an honest, safe and straight forward approach to buying a big ticket item "Sight Unseen." HotAutoWeb began creating Ads for Classic Cars and Hot Rods, where every vehicle was thoroughly inspected and extensively documented in person, with NO Exceptions.

As HotAutoWeb’s reputation spread across the country and listing requests soared, and was recognized as an eBay Titanium Power Seller with 100% positive feedback and by the prestigious luxury-lifestyle magazine, The Robb Report, in an article entitled "Sight Unseen".

Once again, it's founder began to ponder the possibilities, speculating that this approach could be applied to just about any product or service. The acquisition of related “Hot Web” domain names became a top priority. Every domain that came to mind was secured for future expansion, including HotBoatWeb.com, HotRVWeb.com, HotRodWeb.com, HotPlaneWeb.com, HotPartWeb.com, HotBidWeb.com, HotLoanWeb.com and others. The Hot Web portfolio now includes 25 related domain names that will be developed into individual web properties.

The company was purchased from it's founding owner on Oct 17th 2005 when a public company named Snap and Sold purchased HotAutoWeb. On Sept 18th 2006 the company was renamed “Hot Web Inc”.
